How-To Clinics at Boulder Cycle Sport
Boulder Cycle Sport is excited to announce our new series of how-to clinics. Whether you’re new to biking or looking to expand your knowledge, our experts are here to help. Each clinic will be led by one of our professional mechanics who will cover a new topic each month. After each clinic, you’ll have time to ask any other questions you might have about bike maintenance.
The Boulder Cycle Sport How-To Clinics are free to attend and will be held the first Tuesday of every month at BCS South (629 S Broadway, Boulder, CO.) between 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

#1) April 2: Group Ride Skills & Etiquette
You don’t have to be a competitive cyclist to enjoy the benefits of group ride. In this clinic we’ll cover specific skills and gear needed to ride more confidently, safely, and efficiently in a group.
#2) May 7: How to Use Your Garmin
Do you use a Garmin computer for tracking your workouts or are you interested in learning about them? In this clinic, we’ll cover syncing, map-making, and functionality so that you can get the most out of your Garmin computer.
#3) June 4: Tubeless Setup and Maintenance
Tubeless tires are a great way to get better traction and a smoother ride while minimizing flats. In this clinic we’ll cover the details of tubeless setup and maintenance.
#4) July 2: Basic Bike Maintenance
Bike maintenance is an important skill for cyclists of all levels. In this clinic we’ll cover the basics of how to care for your bike and keep it running in top shape. Expect to learn how to change a flat, adjust disc brakes, secure bolts, and lubricate key components.
#5) August 6: Packing Your Bike for Air Travel
If you’re planning to fly with your bike you’ll need to make sure it’s securely packed. Whether you’re using a bike bag, recycled box, or a more elaborate hardshell case, we’ll cover tips for securely packing your bike and putting it back together again once you reach your destination.
