BCS Staff Picks: A Few of Our Favorite 2019 E-bikes

BMC Alpenchallenge AMP Cross:

The BMC Alpenchallenge AMP Cross is part of the brand’s first line of e-bikes. With a carbon frame and fork, this pedal-assist e-bike is lightweight and perfect for on- and off-road riding. With BMC’s Micro Travel Technology, you get an additional 10-mm of travel which adds an extra layer of comfort for an enjoyable ride.

Giant Quick-E+1:

Whether you’re riding to work, to the store, or around town, the Giant Quick-E+1 makes every trip fast and fun. The Quick-E+1 features a compact SyncDrive Sport motor that delivers smooth and instantaneous power which blends seamlessly to your own pedaling power. In the highest setting, the motor boots you quickly up to 28 mph. It’s fully specced for urban riding with full fenders and integrated lights that switch between day and night modes automatically.

Liv Amiti E+2:

One of our favorite women’s specific e-bikes is the Liv Amiti E+2. It has a wider tires for added comfort and stability on any surface, plus rack and fender mounts, integrated lights, and a sleek integrated battery design. With front suspension and hydraulic disc brakes, it’s built for hard commutes, bad roads, relaxed bike-path cruises and everything in between.  

Giant Road E+1:

The Giant Road E+1 is a pedal-assist performance road bike. Its powerful motor can crank you up to 28 mph quickly on the highest setting so you can pedal up the mountains with far less effort than a traditional road bike. It won’t feel like a zippy race bike when you’re making high-speed turns, but it has an endurance-oriented geometry that nimble and allows you to ride in an aggressive position.
