Losing a shoe cleat bolt can really ruin a ride. Before your next ride make sure to tighten all of your cleat bolts. While you're at it, check out the wear on your cleats. If they look bad chances are you need to replace them.
BOULDER, CO – September 15, 2015 – The Boulder Cycle Sport / YogaGlo Cyclocross Team started the season with a bang by notching two wins and a string of podiums at the first two weekends of the 2015 tour. Team rider Amanda Miller took a pair of wins at the Nittany Cross in Pennsylvania and new teammate Crystal Anthony backed it up with a 2nd place on day one. Both riders earned 3rd places in Rochester, New York, the previous weekend, which opened the new season.
Miller, returning to the team following a strong debut last year, is coming off her best year ever on the road racing circuit and looks poised to become a major contender this year. She’s joined on the team by new recruit Crystal Anthony, a veteran from Beverly, Mass. who is one of the top riders on the national scene. Anthony was 5th at the National Championships and 25th at the World Championships last season, 3rd among U.S. riders.
Also new on the team is under-23 standout Grant Ellwood, who graduated from the Boulder Cycle Sport-sponsored Boulder Junior Cycling squad onto the Pro Team this year. Ellwood was 7th at the National Championships and 31st at the World Championships in the under-23 field last season. He also scored 4th at the Collegiate Cyclocross National Championships.
