Trail: Doudy Draw & Springbrook Loop – all levels!

Meet: Doudy Draw Trailhead

Time: 6:00 p.m.

This week’s ride is a tour of the trails on the west side of Highway 93 in south Boulder. This ride features swoopy fun trails with beautiful views of the Flatirons. The trail is beginner-friendly but also fun for more seasoned riders,

This ride will be an all-levels no-drop ride, which means we’ll have a sweeper.

The BMA Gurlz Mountain Bike Rides are weekly women-only rides in the Boulder area. They are about more than just riding. They are about fun, post-ride drinks, and the camaraderie that comes with seeing yourself progress over time.

Please arrive early to set up your bike and be ready to ride at 6:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY JULY 31 – BOSS RIDE

Trail: Picture Rock

Meet: Main Trailhead

Time: 6:16 p.m.

 Sign up for this ride

This is a local favorite and all singletrack.   2.5 miles of somewhat smooth trail, followed by another 2.5 miles of rocky and occasionally technical uphill.  We’ll turn right onto the Wild Turkey Trail, hit the Ponderosa Loop, then return via Picture Rock, where it’s all downhill smiles to the bottom

Be prepared for ~2+ hours of riding; plus, I probably don’t need to say this, but be prepared for the possibility of cold rain.

Please arrive early to set up your bike and be ready to ride at 6:15 p.m.

COMING UP – MIX & MINGLE RIDE

Trail: South Sourdough Trail

Meet: Sourdough Trailhead – Rainbow Lakes Rd.

Tuesday August 6, 6:00 p.m.

These are co-ed rides for intermediate riders, taking place on different trails all summer-long. Each ride is followed by dinner and drinks so you can get to know folks.

Want to meet other riders? New to the area? Hoping to find that special someone who loves the trails as much as you do? Come out and join us on the first Tuesday of each month.

Please RSVP for these rides so we have a good headcount for the number of riders!
