Wow! What a turn out! Cranksgiving-Boulder brought nearly 100 adults and children to our South Boulder location for our first, soon to be annual, bike-powered food drive. With blue skies and mild temperatures, riders were in good spirits. Good thing, too because we were caught a little flat-footed by all of the people who showed up. Are you ready for CRANKSGIVING 2013? Cranksgiving is a charity bike ride that began in 1999, organized by New York City bike messengers. Food is collected at grocery store “checkpoints” and then after being collected at the end of the race, will be donated to a local food bank. All kinds of cyclists are welcome!
