10 Year Anniversary Celebration: Recap!
In 2005, we opened the North Boulder store with one idea in mind: to redefine the community bike shop. We didn’t want to be the shop for the roadie, serving only a specific segment of the cycling population while largely ignoring or intimidating others. We wanted to be the shop for everyone: the newbies and the mountain bikers, the cross-country tourers and the cyclocross racers. Ten years ago, we set out to make Boulder Cycle Sport the most welcoming shop around. What began with one small shop and a single idea has transformed into 4 shops with an all-encompassing mantra, “All people are welcome.” Whether our customers are looking for a high-end custom frame or a cash-conscious townie, we’re here to help. We’ve been honored to serve the Boulder community for 10 years and we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who joined us in celebrating our anniversary.
We started the day off with donuts and coffee thanks to the lovely folks at Voodoo Donuts and OZO coffee.
Our group ride left from the shop at 10:30am, returning to ice cream at 12:30pm from Glacier! While everyone built delicious ice cream sundaes, Brandon enjoyed a pint of his favorite Caramel Coffee Crunch.
Our afternoon was quiet, but we picked things up again with a happy hour celebration around 4:30 with food from Cured Boulder, drinks from the Wine Merchant and cake from Kim & Jakes (and from our Focus/Cervelo rep Jason!)
Thank you to all of those who came out to ride bikes, eat ice cream, drink beer and eat cake! We couldn’t be more thankful for all of our amazing customers.
Above all – Thank you, Boulder, for 10 amazing years. Here’s to many more. Check out the photos from the event and thanks again for joining in.
