WOMEN’S DEPARTMENT LEAD SALES

The Area: Sales

The Role: Women’s Department Lead Sales

As the Women’s Department Lead Salesperson, you are a store manager and the driving force behind Boulder Cycle Sport’s expanding women’s cycling department. You oversee all areas related to women’s cycling at BCS, including sales; customer service; merchandising; purchasing input regarding women’s bicycles, apparel, and accessories; and spearheading women-specific programs and clinics.  You also participate in the day-to-day activities of our Sales Associates.  A compelling leader, you relish the opportunity to help colleagues grow and develop. You are an adept and experienced sales professional who works with our Owners and Service Managers both to lead the store on a day-to-day basis and to set, pursue, and achieve big goals. You work to establish Boulder Cycle Sport as a destination resource for cyclists across the spectrum, including those seeking high-end, specialty, and custom bicycles and accessories.  You continually look for ways to improve processes, increase productivity, and grow the business.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of current road and mountain bike technology
  • Women-specific product knowledge
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work weekend days
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years bicycle retail sales experience

As a Sales Associate, you are an integral part of the Boulder Cycle Sport sales team. You drive the sale of bicycles and related components and accessories, consistently provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor. You have a passion for cycling and the ability to inspire people to ride.  You are a team player and a quick learner, and work closely with BCS Lead Sales employees to raise the retail bar.

SERVICE MECHANIC

The Area: Service

We bring to bear passion, know-how, and dedication to keep our clientele riding. Whether we’re wrenching on the latest Tour de France-level race machine or a kid’s bike, we work with thoroughness, care, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every bike performs at its peak. We are energetic team players keen to roll up our sleeves, lend a hand to our colleagues, and do what’s necessary to get the job done. We also seek out opportunities to build and deepen relationships with our customers, recognizing this makes for better service and a better experience for our clientele. The Role: Service Mechanic

As a Service Mechanic, you are an integral part of the Boulder Cycle Sport service team. You sell, perform, and educate customers on the servicing of bicycles, related components, and accessories.  You consistently provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized service area. You have a passion for cycling and the ability to inspire people to ride and are a team player as well as a quick learner.  You work closely with BCS Service Managers to raise the service center bar.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with current road and mountain bike technology
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work weekend days

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least three years of consistent bike shop service experience
  • Attendance at and/or certification from a bicycle mechanics school
  • Experience with disc brakes, suspension, wheel building, and electronic shifting
